The Ministry of Health has confirmed 188 new COVID-19 cases in Singapore as of 12 pm on August 10. This takes the national tally of infections to 55,292.
The vast majority of the new cases are Work Permit holders currently under quarantine. There is also one case in the community, who is a Singaporean, said the MOH in its preliminary release of figures.
Additionally, there are 12 imported cases, who had all been placed on Stay-Home Notice upon arrival in Singapore.
“We are still working through the details of the cases, and further updates will be shared via the MOH press release that will be issued tonight,” the ministry added.
