The Ministry of Health has reported 278 new COVID-19 cases in Singapore as of 12 pm on July 30. This takes the national tally of infections to 51,809.
The vast majority of the new cases are Work Permit holders residing in foreign worker dormitories. There are also four cases in the community, of whom 1 is a Singaporean and 3 are Work Pass holders, said the MOH in its preliminary release of figures.
Additionally, there are four imported cases, who had been placed on Stay-Home Notice upon arrival in Singapore.
“We are still working through the details of the cases, and further updates will be shared via the MOH press release that will be issued tonight,” the ministry added.
