The Ministry of Health reported 31 new COVID-19 cases in Singapore as of 12 pm on September 21. This takes the nation’s tally of confirmed infections to 57,607.
There are no cases in the community.
Among the nine imported cases, one is a Singapore Permanent Resident who returned to Singapore from India on September 9. Four are Work Pass/ Work Permit holders currently employed in Singapore who arrived from India on September 9 and Iran on September 15.
Another two cases are Dependant’s Pass holders who arrived from India on September 9 and Iran on September 15. The remaining two are Student’s Pass holders who arrived from India on September 9.
All of them had been placed on 14-day Stay-Home Notice (SHN) upon arrival in Singapore, and were tested while serving their SHN at dedicated facilities.
