The Ministry of Health reported four new COVID-19 cases in Singapore as of 12 pm on October 13. There is no locally transmitted infection among the new cases.
There were also no new infections in dormitories for the first time in over six months.
The current tally of confirmed COVID-19 infections in Singapore stands at 57,884.
All four COVID-19 cases on Tuesday were imported infections, who had all been placed on Stay-Home Notice upon arrival in Singapore. Among the new cases today, three are asymptomatic, and were detected from our proactive screening and surveillance, while 1 was symptomatic.
On Monday, a 64-year-old man died of complications relating to COVID-19, becoming Singapore's 28th novel coronavirus fatality. This was the first death from the virus in almost three months.
