The Ministry of Health has reported four new COVID-19 cases in Singapore as of 12 pm on October 19. This takes the national tally of confirmed infections to 57,915.
There are no new cases of locally transmitted COVID-19 infection among the new cases.
All four cases are imported. One is a Singaporean and another is a Singapore Permanent Resident who returned to Singapore from India. Another case is a Student’s Pass holder who also arrived from India.
The remaining case is a Special Pass holder who arrived from the Philippines to board a ship docked here. They had all been placed on SHN upon arrival in Singapore and were tested while serving SHN.
