The Ministry of Health reported six new COVID-19 cases in Singapore as of 12 pm on October 20. This takes the national tally of confirmed infections to 57, 921.
There are two new cases of locally transmitted COVID-19 infection, both residing in dormitories. There are no new cases in the community.
Additionally, there are four imported cases, one of which is a Singaporean and another is a Singapore Permanent Resident who returned to Singapore from Indonesia and India respectively.
The remaining cases are Work Pass holders currently employed in Singapore who arrived from the UAE and Germany. They had all been placed on SHN upon arrival in Singapore and were tested while serving SHN.
