9 new COVID-19 cases in Singapore on October 30, including one in the community

The Ministry of Health reported 9 new COVID-19 cases in Singapore as of 12 pm on October 30. This takes the national tally of confirmed cases to 58,003.

There are 2 new cases of locally transmitted COVID-19 infection, of whom 1 is in the community, and 1 resides in a dormitory.  

Additionally, there are 7 imported cases, who had all been placed on Stay-Home Notice or isolated upon arrival in Singapore, said MOH in its preliminary release of figures. 

"We are still working through the details of the cases, and further updates will be shared via the MOH press release that will be issued tonight," the ministry added.
