From desi khaana to desi ganna! You had it all.
An auditorium filled with 600 students cheered for their university while battling for the trophy of Tarang 2019.
With energy levels hitting the roof, music, drama and sports made for four days of complete excitement and thrill. With so much happening simultaneously, a first timer like me had difficulty choosing my kinda fun. Nothing could be missed!
Started in 1999, Tarang brings together the community of Indian students under one roof. Students from SMU, SIM, NTU, NUS, SUTD, and LASALLE came together this year celebrating the 20th edition with mind-blowing dance and drama performances.
Tarang Kala was held on February 9 and 10 at the Nexus Auditorium. For those students who missed home, Tarang was the place to be and celebrate their Indianness! Students grooved to blockbuster hits like ‘Ankh Maare’ and ‘Simba Ala’ from movies like Simba, while the band performed on mellow tunes such as ‘Mitwa’ from Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna.
I am sure we made Anuj Khanna Sohum, now the Chairman & CEO of technology company Affle, once upon a time an NUS alumnus and the founding member of Tarang very proud. 🙂
