1. Friday with Friends!: Indian classical dance in Singapore
This talk by Singapore Indian Fine Arts Society (SIFAS) president Vidhya Nair and Apsaras Arts creative director Aravinth Kumaraswamy looks at the history of this rich and ancient genre, as well as the pioneering individuals and institutions that helped shape the Indian classical dance scene. It will also offer a brief preview of the original production Natya Yatra, conceived by SIFAS to commemorate the 100-year anniversary.
This lecture is free, and seats are available on a first-come, first-served basis. No registration is required.

2. Bhangra Nite: All-star Bhangra!
In collaboration with RedDot Bhangra, be awed as the Bollywood playground gets transformed into an epic Mela, with an amazing DJ's line up. Celebrate the rich Punjabi culture and music while giving back to the society – a percentage of the proceeds from the door sales will go towards aiding Sunlove Home.

3. Hariharan LIVE in Singapore
Beginning his career in the 1990s, Hariharan has grown into one of the most prominent pan Indian singers and has rendered his voice to numerous songs of multiple Indian languages apart from Bollywood. Hariharan also played an important role in the glorious Indi-pop music era in India as one half of the Colonial Cousins.
Join in for a magical ride as Hariharan serenates you with several of his Hindi classics like "Roja Jaaneman", "Hai Rama Yeh Kya Hua", "Nahin Saamne" and "Ay Hairathe" as well as some of his Ghazal, Sufi & Fusion numbers.

4. IHC Heritage Weekend Open House

5. Veg*n Indian Curries & Flatbreads with Masterchef Sowmiya
This will be the first of a 3-part series where participants will learn to cook a base curry from scratch, without using a "curry powder", and then adapt it into 2 different dishes. You will also acquire skills in making speciality Indian flatbreads!
The class does not require prior cooking skills and you can sign up for one class or all.
