Tech giants Google and Facebook claimed the top two spots as the best places to work in Singapore as rated by employees, according to a list by job and recruiting site Glassdoor.
Energy and petrochemicals firm Shell takes the third position, followed by tech companies Amazon and Microsoft.
In the United States, software company HubSpot beat out big-name multinational businesses to secure the first position. Google and Facebook have in fact dropped out of the top ten places to work in the country, falling to the 11th and 23rd position respectively.
HubSpot has firmly invested in employee engagement, in addition to expanding globally with offices in eight countries and a growing remote workforce, Glassdoor said in a press release.
Meanwhile in the United Kingdom, Google takes the top spot, followed by software companies Equal Experts and Salesforce.
“This year’s winners stand out for promoting transparency with employees, offering career growth opportunities and providing work driven by impact and purpose,” said Christian Sutherland-Wong, Glassdoor president and chief operating officer.
