The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi is looking for overseas expertise to redesign its campus through an open international competitive bidding process. India’s premier medical institute has reissued a global tender seeking a Master Planning & Programme Management Consultant and has once again extended the deadline for accepting proposals.
The tender invites applicants to submit a proposal “to prepare an integrated Master Plan for redevelopment of AIIMS Delhi campus into a world-class medical university with enhanced focus on research and academic areas along with the addition of approximately 3,000 patient care beds and related facilities”.
The consultant is expected to prepare the master plan for the redevelopment of the campus to incorporate additional medical facilities as well as modernise the teaching and hostel infrastructure.
The total tenure of the consultancy has been fixed as five years, extendable by two years based on mutual agreement.
AIIMS has adopted a two-stage selection process for evaluating the proposals comprising technical and financial bids. In the first stage, a technical evaluation will be carried out based on which a list of short-listed applicants shall be prepared. In the second stage, a financial evaluation will be carried out.
The tender is listed on the websites of various Indian Embassies and consulates around the globe and a submission form may be downloaded here. https://eprocure.gov.in/cppp/
