66 new cases of COVID-19 infection was reported in Singapore as of 12pm on April 6, according to the Ministry of Health (MOH).
Only one case is imported, and the remaining 65 are local cases.
Authorities have established links to existing clusters for 35 of the local cases. Of these, 24 cases were linked to clusters at foreign worker dormitories and 11 were linked to non-dormitory clusters.
Contact tracing is ongoing for the remaining 30 cases.
Meanwhile, 24 more cases of COVID-19 infection have been discharged from hospitals or community isolation facilities. In all, 344 have fully recovered from the infection in Singapore and have been discharged.
