At least 60 people who had taken shelter in an east Ukraine school feared dead after being bombed by Russia, Lugansk regional governor Serhiy Gaidai said yesterday.
Gaidai said that the Russian forces dropped a bomb on the school in Bilohorivka causing a fire that engulfed the building.
"Bilogorivka (village) was hit in an airstrike," on Saturday said Gaidai.
"The bombs fell on the school and unfortunately it was completely destroyed. There were a total of 90 people, 27 were saved," he said on Telegram.
"Sixty people who were in the school are very probably dead."
