The initiative is part of 2023 PTV Exercise, an official news release from the Ministry of Transport stated.

Exercise to be carried out in stages

“Similar to previous years, the 2023 PTV Exercise is carried out in two stages,” the release read.

In the first stage, which was completed in December 2023, over 240,000 households that had received a voucher during the 2022 PTV Exercise and continue to meet the income eligibility criteria received notification letters on their PTVs.

Under the second stage, which will run from 15 January 2024 to 31 October 2024, households that meet the eligibility criteria but did not receive a voucher in the first stage can apply for PTVs online at https://www.go.gov.sg/ptv or in person at their local Community Centres/Clubs (CCs).

Vouchers valid till March 2025

“Households who have received a PTV notification letter can follow the instructions on the letter to redeem their voucher via the SimplyGo app or at any SimplyGo Kiosks, Top-Up Kiosks, Assisted Service Kiosks, SimplyGo Ticket Offices or SimplyGo Ticketing Service Centres,” the release read.

The vouchers for the PTV Exercise are valid till 31 March 2025.
