Renowned pop star Ed Sheeran is in India currently as part of his +–=÷× Tour (Mathematics) tour. The British singer is scheduled to perform in Mumbai on March 16. Ahead of it, the ‘Perfect’ singer took time out to visit kids at a school in the city.
Sheeran visited the SHED Primary English School in the city’s Dharavi region. During his visit, he not only interacted with the kids, but also sang a song for them.
The 33-year-old’s concert will take place at the Mahalaxmi Race Course in Mumbai. While the gates will open at 3 PM, Sheeran will take the stage after 7 PM. Homegrown talent Prateek Kuhad will open for him. Special guest Calum Scott will follow Kuhad, before Sheeran’s performance.
The tickets are priced at INR 9,500 (USD 114) (general) and can be as high as INR 16,000 (USD 193) for those seeking value added services.
Meanwhile, Sheeran received a warm welcome by Bollywood actor Ayushmann Khurrana. The Andhadhun actor gave the singer his mother’s handmade Pinni (an Indian dessert).
Sharing an image with Sheeran on Instagram, Khurrana wrote: “A Polaroid keepsake from my time with Ed ❤️Great meeting you, @teddysphotos.”
