One terrorist neutralised in Kathua, Jammu and Kashmir witnesses three attacks in 48 hours

Security forces neutralised one terrorist and one civilian was injured during an operation in Hiranagar tehsil of Kathua district of Jammu and Kashmir on Tuesday, officials said.

Union Minister Jitendra Singh posted on X: “I am in continuous online contact with DC #Kathua Sh Rakesh Minhas in the wake of terrorist attack on a house in village Saida in Hiranagar sector close to the International Border. I am also in touch with SSP Kathua Sh Anayat Ali Choudhary who is on the spot.”

“The owner of the house that was attacked (name not to be disclosed) is also in touch on mobile phone. Joint police & para military operation is going on. One terrorist neutralised so far. I and my office are in constant touch and keeping a close watch on the developments,” he wrote sharing the development around the terror attack.

According to reports, the operation is still going on.

Two more terror attacks in Kashmir

Security forces on Tuesday launched a massive search operation after suspected terrorists struck the border village of Hiranagar region in Kathua district of Jammu and Kashmir.

According to media reports, two to three suspected terrorists were seen in Saida Sohal village in Hiranagar area.

The suspected terrorists reportedly fired a few rounds and ran away towards the forest area.

Security forces later rushed to the spot and launched an operation.

Raesi terror attack

Nine terrorists attacked a bus ferrying pilgrims in Reasi district recently following which the vehicle plunged into a gorge.

At least 10 pilgrims died and 33 others were injured in the incident.
