Indian PM Narendra Modi said he held a productive discussion with Russian President Vladimir Putin in the Kremlin on Tuesday.
Modi said he had discussions on issues related to trade, commerce, security, agriculture, technology and innovation with the Russian top leader.
“We attach great importance to boosting connectivity and people-to-people exchanges,” Modi posted on X.
Earlier in the day, Modi addressed an Indian diaspora who had gathered in Moscow. He said the development India witnessed in the last 10 years since he came to power was just a trailer.
In his address to the diaspora, Modi said, “You all must have seen what was happening in the country during the elections. During the elections, I stated that the development India had achieved in the last 10 years was just a trailer.”
“The coming 10 years are going to be of even faster growth! From semiconductors to electronic manufacturing, from green hydrogen to electrical vehicles, India’s new momentum will write a new chapter in the history of development of the world.”
