Putting months of speculations to rest, actors Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck, popularly known as Bennifer, are reportedly set to part ways, as they have filed for divorce, two years after getting hitched.
Lopez, 55, reportedly filed the divorce papers herself in Los Angeles County Superior Court on August 20, 2024. As per reports, the couple separated on April 26, 2024.
Affleck, 52, married JLo in Vegas on July 16, 2022, in a surprise ceremony. A bigger ceremony took place in Georgia on August 20, 2022.
Nearly 17 years after calling off their engagement in 2003, the Bennifer couple got back together in 2021. While it culminated in a marriage, the union didn’t last long, as rumours of marital strife began circulating in May 2024.
In June, the couple listed their Beverly Hills mansion for sale. Affleck reportedly purchased a new USD 20 million home the following month.
