Bollywood superstar Deepika Padukone and her husband, A-list actor Ranveer Singh, are counting the days to turn new parents.
Ahead of embracing parenthood, the couple have dropped pictures from their pregnancy shoot, which reveals that Deepika is in an advanced stage of pregnancy.
Several pictures showcase Deepika and Ranveer together as a couple, while some focus on the would-be-mother showcasing her baby bump.
While Deepika’s Bollywood colleague Katrina Kaif dropped all hearts for the actress, her sister Anisha Padukone commented, “Mother is mothering.”
The 38-year-old announced her pregnancy on February 29, 2024. The couple are expecting their first child this month.
On the work front, the actress is basking in the success of Nag Ashwin’s Kalki 2898 AD, which went on to receive widespread critical acclaim and earned an estimated INR 1,030 crore at the global box office.
Deepika, who plays the protagonist (the Mother who carries a god in her womb), stars alongside Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, Prabhas, and Saswata Chatterjee in the film, which is now streaming on Netflix.
