A student from the Indian city of Hyderabad died from drowning in a lake in Toronto in Canada recently on a day when he was celebrating his birthday.
The Indian national was identified as Praneeth.
He drowned in Lake Clear in Toronto, media reports said.
Praneeth completed his Master’s in Canada and was looking for a job in the country.
The deceased person went to a lake for boating with his friends to celebrate his birthday when he accidentally fell and drowned in the water.
A search operation was launched immediately after the police were informed of the matter.
The victim’s family was informed of the tragedy on Monday by one of his friends, and further investigation is going on, reported Siasat website.
