Singapore Grand Prix 2025 to take place in October

On September 22, McLaren emerged as the leader as British-Belgian racer Lando Norris clinched the Singapore F1 Grand Prix. The McLaren driver finished 20.945 seconds ahead of Max Verstappen, in a dominating display as thousands celebrated his win at the Marina Bay Street Circuit.

This race was a part of the 24-round season organised by FIA. The 2024 season, which is ongoing, will end on December 8 at Abu Dhabi. Formula One fans, who are growing by the numbers each year, wait for the races with bated breath. So, how long do F1 race fans in Singapore have to wait for the event to come back to the city-state? As per the F1 2025 calendar, the Singapore Grand Prix will take place from October 3 to 5, 2025.

The new season will start in Australia in March. Melbourne will host the event from March 14 to 16, 2025.

It will conclude with the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix on the weekend of December 5-7, the paddock will again visit five of the world’s seven continents.

As per formula1.com the Bahrain and Saudi Arabian Grands Prix will be held in April as Ramadan will be throughout March in 2025.

The summer break will take place in August, with three weekends off separating the pre-holiday Hungarian Grand Prix at the Hungaroring and the post-holiday Dutch Grand Prix at Zandvoort.

Changes made to the calendar in 2024 to create a better geographical flow of races have been carried over to 2025, with Japan in April following Australia and China, followed predominantly by the European races over the summer and the Americas during the Autumn, before Qatar and Abu Dhabi finish the season back-to-back.

Shanghai, Miami, Spa, Austin, Sao Paulo and Qatar will host the Sprints in 2025. Pre-season testing will take place in Bahrain, on February 26-28.

Speaking about the calendar announcement, Formula 1 CEO and President Stefano Domenicali said: “2025 will be a special year as we celebrate the 75th Anniversary of the FIA Formula One World Championship, and it’s that legacy and experience that allows us to deliver such a strong calendar.

“Once again, we’ll visit 24 incredible venues around the world, delivering top class racing, hospitality, and entertainment, which will be enjoyed by millions of fans worldwide.
