An Indian-origin former New York City senior health advisor was sacked from his job at a pharmaceutical firm recently after he was caught on camera saying that he participated in drug-fuelled sex parties during the COVID-19 pandemic which disrupted normal life across the globe.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, Dr.Jay Varma was responsible for coordinating the city’s response to the pandemic.

Following the revelation, he was removed from the executive vice president and chief medical officer position at SIGA Technologies.

Dr. Jay Varma was serving as a senior health adviser to then-Mayor Bill de Blasio during COVID-19 when he and his wife put on the sex- and drug-fueled debauchery and attended a packed Wall Street rave, according to secretly recorded conversations the doctor had with a woman, reported The New York Post.

Podcaster Steven Crowder recently shared the video footage on X where Varma could be seen making the confessions.

In the videos, Varma could be heard saying that he participated in underground raves and hosted sex parties when the city was under severe lockdown.

Varma’s critic and city Councilman Bob Holden posted on X: “No wonder SIGA Technologies got ahead of this; it looks bad. This is utterly revolting and why we need an investigation into Big Pharma and decisions made during the pandemic!”

“Varma’s admission is alarming—their jobs are to spin the facts, create health crises, and push products, even when the drug didn’t work,” he said.
