The Los Angeles wildfires have turned over 10,000 structures into rubble and caused 24 deaths. It left lives trapped under crushed luxury residences, mainly in Pacific Palisades when flames engulfed residences. Amidst all the chaos and destruction, a heartwarming video, featuring a man and his dog ‘Oreo’, and their emotional reunion has surfaced online.
According to reports, the pooch was reunited with its owner five days after the two separated.
Casey Colvin was worried about losing Oreo in the natural disaster. To aid the rescue, a poster of Oreo was circulated, and it went viral on social media. It mentioned the dog to have gone missing and asked people to inform Casey if they spotted the pet around them.
The search for Oreo reportedly started on January 7 and concluded on Sunday, January 12, on a positive note.

It was learned Casey had another dog too. Liz saw him searching for both of his dogs after the calamity struck.
“Oh my God! You’re alive!”
The video shared by the journalist showed the man hugging Oreo and even jumping in joy while shedding happy tears.

“Had that firefighter not offered to go get the dogs, both of them would have been trapped inside when the flames came”, he told Liz.
The now-viral footage captures Casey and Oreo running towards each other after spending five nights apart. It shows him affectionately grabbing Oreo in his arms and lifting the dog in the air. The heartwarming visuals also show him dancing after seeing his rescue dog alive. “Oh my God! You’re alive!”, he was heard saying in the footage.
