With a 6 feet 5 inches vertical and a physique that can give body builders a run for their money, Dwayne Johnson is undeniably a tough man. Even the mighty Achilles had a weak spot and Johnson, like all mortals, isn’t devoid of it. When it comes to facing his daughters, Johnson lets his guard down and isn’t afraid to let the world see the softer side of him, as proved by a recent video which he shared on Instagram.
A doting dad, Johnson, known to millions around the world as WWE Superstar The Rock, received a beauty treatment, wherein his daughters Jasmine and Tiana gave him a makeover.
The two kids, who Johnson shares with his second wife Lauren Hashian, often like to glam up their daddy, rubbing all types of cosmetic products on the burly actor, who sits patiently for the makeovers. This wasn’t any different.
“What started off with my two tornadoes, Jazzy & Tia asking, ‘Daddy can we just put some eye shadow on you’ and me saying — ‘yes but make it quick and make it cool, because I gotta go to the gym’,” he shared. The girls painted their father’s face and lips red, rubbing lipstick over it. They also stuck stickers on his head, and completed the look with a pair of earrings.
“(hey I know they won’t always be little or prefer hanging out with daddy when they’re older, but they’ll always be my baby girls so I’ll take this abuse all day long – bring it on 🤣🥰),” Johnson added as a post script note.
Meanwhile, the video won plaudits from Johnson’s vast social media followers, including other celebs.
Priyanka Chopra Jonas said, “You’re beautiful 👏🤣😍.”
Top Hollywood actress Viola Davis said, “You are a blessed man🙏🏿❤️❤️❤️”
Johnson’s stunt double Tanoai Reed commented, “I sense a new Superhero character in the making uso!! 🦸🏽♂️😂”
Uso is the Samoan word for a brother. Apart from being his stunt double, Reed is also Johnson’s cousin. They are both of Samoan descent and hence refer to one another as uso.
Johnson, considered as part of pro wrestling royalty, has over a dozen members, including multiple Hall of Famers in the WWE. His cousins, Jey and Jimmy, were part of the highly acclaimed tag team The Usos, and were former WWE Tag Team champions.
His eldest daughter, Simone, became the first fourth generation pro wrestler in the WWE, after she signed with the promotion and appeared for their developmental programme NXT as Ava Raine in 2022.
