Taylor Swift likely to make India debut at Gautam Adani’s son Jeet Adani’s pre-wedding function

Global pop icon Taylor Swift is reportedly set to mark her debut performance in India. If reports are to be believed, the singer has been approached to perform at the pre-wedding celebrations of renowned businessman Gautam Adani’s son Jeet Adani.

According to a recent report by News 18, Swift might be gearing up for her debut performance in India.

The global pop sensation has reportedly been approached to perform at the pre-wedding celebrations of Jeet Adani and Diva Shah.

Reacting to the reports, a source informed the news portal, “Yes, this is true. Taylor Swift’s team is in discussions with the Adanis for a performance at one of the pre-wedding festivities of Jeet Adani and Diva Shah. While Taylor hasn’t confirmed her presence yet, talks are ongoing, and it seems the grand wedding could mark her first-ever performance in India.”

Swift enjoys a massive and ever-growing fan following in India. Despite Swift never having performed in the country, her albums dominate Indian music charts, and her tracks are a staple on playlists.

Jeet and Diva’s wedding

Jeet got engaged to Diva Jaimin Shah, daughter of a diamond trader on March 12, 2023. The wedding functions will be attended by close friends and family.

While the wedding date is not out yet, several media reports have stated that international artists will mark their attendance at the grand wedding.

Jeet, a graduate of university of Pennsylvania, joined Adani Group in 2019 and currently serves as the Director, Airports. He began working in the Adani group’s CFO office where he looked after Strategic Finance, Capital Markets and Risk and Governance Policy.
