In a rare incident, Indian cricket legend Rahul Dravid was filmed getting into an argument with a fellow driver in southern India’s Bengaluru.
Dravid, apart from his glorious cricket career and stats, is also widely remembered as one of the most disciplined athletes to play the game, who unlike the vast majority, seldom got into arguments.
A famous advertisement from Cred, a credit card company, used this trait and flipped the script to produce a memorable segment a few years ago. In it, The Wall was seen brandishing a cricket bat after losing his cool at a traffic stopover in India’s Silicon Valley. A rare sight one must say!
While that advertisement brought out a different side of the iconic batter, the incident that transpired a recently was not a part of any creative endeavour, it happened, for real and the man who’s epitomised as the icon of cool, lost it for once.
A clip which has now gone viral showed the ex-India national team coach getting into an argument with another driver. Dravid looked angry at what one can assume was a crash. He was seen examining the front of his vehicle, which sustained damage after a possible collision.
Indian cricketer Rahul Dravid's car & a commercial goods vehicle were involved in a minor accident on Cunningham road in #Bengaluru. And unlike the #cred ad, #RahulDravid & the goods vehicle driver engaged in a civilized argument & left the place later. No complaint so far pic.twitter.com/HJHQx5er3P
