Hollywood actor Tom Hanks and his wife Rita Wilson have tested positive for COVID-19. The actor wrote a message via social media earlier today to inform his fans about the situation.

The couple are currently in Australia where Hanks is shooting for his upcoming Warner Bros film on Elvis Presley. As per the Oscar-winning actor's post, both he and his wife felt “a bit tired” and had “some body aches”. Subsequent testing confirmed the COVID-19 infection.

“We Hanks’ will be tested, observed and isolated for as long as public health and safety requires,” his post continued.
