Amazon’s popular web series The Family Man to return with Season 2 in 2021

Tweets on Amazon Prime Video’s official India handle and on lead actor Manoj Bajpayee’s Twitter page have confirmed the release of Season 2 of Family Man in 2021.

“Enough of the wait. We have brought the New Year’s gift for you. Open carefully”, says the translation of the tweet in Hindi by Bajpayee.

The first look poster of The Family Man’s Season 2, promises an explosive sequel to the highly acclaimed Season 1 and was shared by the OTT platform – without the actual mention of any release date.

However if fans of the spy thriller are to be believed, the date is hidden within the teaser poster and is predicted to be February 12 2021.

A close look at the digital clock in the poster, which reads 12:02, hints that the new season will premiere on February 12 say fans, though it’s not confirmed by Amazon Prime Video.

Don’t know about the timer here, but we’re exploding with excitement says Amazon Prime’s tweet.

The Family Man is a spy thriller starring Manoj Bajpayee as Srikant Tiwari, a National Intelligence Agency (NIA) agent who balances between risking everything for his job whilst trying to keep his family safe.

Along with the image of a time bomb being assembled the poster has scattered newspaper clipping and photographs of Bajpayee, Priya Mani and Sharib Hashmi (who played Tiwari's trusty colleague JK Talpade in Season 1).

Sharad Kelkar, Gul Panang, Neeraj Madhav, Shreya Dhanwanthary, among others also star in the show.
