An American woman has been officially recognised by the Guinness Book of World Records for having the world's longest competitive mullet for a female.
Tami Manis, from Knoxville, last cut the back of her hair on February 9, 1990.
“A lot of people just notice it when I turn around, so most of the time it’s like they don’t realize how long my hair is until they look at the backside,” Manis said in a video posted by Guinness World Records on Thursday, as quoted by CNN.
According to reports, the American woman, who is a public nurse by profession, was inspired by a music video from American rock band 'Til Tuesday.
She had earlier competed in the 2022 US Mullet Championships.
She finished second in the competition.
