Renowned Indian playback singer Arijit Singh is a treat to watch when he performs live and those who have attended his concerts will swear by it. However, concert goers will have to burn a hole in their pockets and shell out INR 2.43 lakh (USD 2,923) to witness him perform live. Well, that’s the price some people might have to pay for his upcoming concert in Pune.
Singh is one of the most sought-after singers in the country with numerous chart toppers to his name. In a new year treat for his fans, he recently announced that he is all set to perform in Pune in March, and the bookings for the same are now open.
The concert is set to be held in Pune, Maharashtra, on March 3 at 5 pm, and the tickets have gone live on several online booking websites.
Ticket prices start at USD 12
While the cheapest passes are priced at INR 999 (USD 12), the most expensive one is worth a staggering INR 2.30 lakh, excluding taxes. With INR 35,084 (USD 422) GST and INR 13,570 (USD 163) as booking fee, the total price of the ticket goes up to INR 2,43,570.
The price of the ticket includes a table for 10 people, along with food and alcoholic beverages for them.
Other tickets in the VIP zone are priced at INR 49,000 (USD 589), INR 1 lakh (USD 1,203), INR 1.49 lakh (USD 1,792) and INR 1.99 lakh (USD 2,394).
For the seated rows in front of the stage, the passes cost INR 4,999 (USD 60), INR 5,999 (USD 72), INR 7,999 (USD 96) and INR 9,999 (USD 120). The standing section at the concert venue have tickets worth INR 999 and INR 1,799 (USD 21).
This is not the first time that passes for Arijit Singh’s concert are being sold at such exorbitant rates. Back in 2022, the singer had grabbed eyeballs when tickets for his concert in Pune were priced at a whopping INR 16 lakh (USD 19,249).
