A crash involving multiple vehicles in Egypt has accounted for the death of 32 people, media reports said.
The collision occurred on Saturday (October 28, 2023) morning in Egypt's Beheira governorate on the Cairo-Alexandria road, 131km (82 miles) north of the capital Cairo, BBC reported.
According to reports, the accident left 63 people hurt.
The accident involved a passenger bus and several cars, some of which caught fire, Ahram Online reported.
Of the injured, 53 are being treated at the Wadi El-Natrun Day Surgery Hospital while seven are being treated at the West El Nobaria Central Hospital, the newspaper reported, quoting Egypt’s Ministry of Health and Population issued a statement.
The rest of the injured people received treatment at the site of the accident.
