Common man can topple an empire if you mess with his dignity: R Madhavan on his latest release Hisaab Barabar

After wowing the audience with his negative character in Shaitaan, R Madhavan is back again, this time as a common man and the power the group possess as a whole.

Madhavan, who was recently seen in film Hisaab Barabar, currently streaming on ZEE5 Global, spoke to Connected to India ahead of the film’s digital premiere.

He highlighted the power of the common man. “The Dignity of a common man in India is the most important thing for him. Try to interfere with his common requirement, he’s going to bring down an empire,” he says.

Madhavan plays Radhe Mohan Sharma a travelling ticket examiner in the film. When he discovers a fraud in his bank account, amounting to INR 27 (USD 0.31), he confronts the bank, starting a chain of events that forms the film.

Maddy also spoke about his journey in the industry and some of his favourite films.
