As of noon today, Singapore's Ministry of Health (MOH) has confirmed and verified that there are no new cases of locally transmitted COVID-19 infection. There are 15 imported cases, who had already been placed on Stay-Home Notice (SHN) upon arrival in Singapore.
"All new cases today are asymptomatic, and were detected from our proactive screening and surveillance," an MOH press release stated.
Of the total 60,137 cases in Singapore, 60,001 have fully recovered from the infection and have been discharged from hospitals or community care facilities, the MOH added. 17 more cases of COVID-19 infection were discharged from hospitals or community isolation facilities yesterday.
There are currently 19 confirmed cases who are still in the hospital, most of whom are stable or improving. There are no cases in the intensive care unit (ICU).
87 cases who have mild symptoms or who are clinically well but still tested positive for COVID-19 are isolated and cared for at community facilities.
