In Pakistan, dacoits of Katcha area allegedly kidnapped three members of the minority Hindu community from Chowk Sawetraarea near Bhong on Tuesday night.
As per reports, the three Hindu youths — identified as Shaman, Sajan and Shameer — were intercepted by more than five armed dacoits near Chowk Sawetra Basic Health Unit (BHU).
Local Dawn News reported that the hostages were taken to Katcha area and the kidnappers later released a video message, demanding the release of their family members.
In the video message, a criminal, who was identified as Ashiq Hussain Korai, said he was from Katcha Karachi island in the river Indus. Korai said that the kidnapping was carried out because Ahmedpur Lama Station House Officer (SHO) Rana Ramzan had allegedly picked up his 10 family members, including his brother Allah Wasaya, children and women.
Korai warned the police to either release his relatives or face the group’s wrath, who vowed to not only kill the hostages, but also attack the law enforcement officials.
The video clip also shows the hostages, who were chained, begging for their release.
This kidnapping, however, isn’t new. It’s a proven tactic used by dacoits in order to carry out their demands.
