Dev Patel seems to be hogging limelight for his role in the film 'Lion.'
It was eight years ago, when he was first nominated for 'Slumdog Millionaire' in the 'Best Actor in a Leading Role' category and now he has been nominated once again for the awards, but this time in the 'Best Supporting Actor' category.
Dev Patel was also nominated for the recently held Golden Globe Awards, but he lost the award to 'Nocturnal Animals' Aaron Taylor-Johnson. For BAFTA, Dev is competing with Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Hugh Grant, Jeff Bridges and Mahershala Ali.

Shot in Kolkata and Australia, Lion, a drama film had its world premiere at Toronto International Film Festival. Directed by Garth Davis, Lion revolves around a five-year-old Indian boy who gets lost in Kolkata, thousands of kilometres from home. After facing many challenges, he is adopted by an Australian couple and 25 years later, he ventures out to find his lost family.
BAFTA awards will be held on February 12 at the Royal Albert Hall in London.
