A few hours after his arraignment in Manhattan, New York City, former US President Donald Trump spoke before a gathering of his supporters in Mar-A-Lago, Florida, from a dais that carried his “MAGA” message for the 2024 presidential elections. He called the indictment “massive election interference”, after repeating his rants about how the 2020 election was stolen from him.
As Trump took the dais, he started by saying, “Thank you very much, everybody, we have to save our country. God bless you all.” The crowd chanted “USA, USA…” in response.
Trump continued, “And I never thought anything like this could happen in America. Never thought it could happen. The only crime that I have committed is to fearlessly defend our nation from those who seek to destroy it.”

He then accused the Democrats of spying on his 2020 election. “They attacked me with an onslaught of fraudulent investigations — Russia, Russia, Russia… Ukraine, Ukraine, Ukraine… impeachment hoax number one… impeachment hoax number two…”
Referring to his earlier complaints about the election that he lost, Trump told the Florida gathering on Tuesday that “millions of votes” were “illegally stuffed” into ballot boxes. Talking about his arraignment earlier yesterday, he also launched a personal attack on Alvin Bragg, the Manhattan district attorney handling the felony case.
