The Dubai Shopping Festival is once again starting from December 26 and shoppers from across the globe are expected to gather in the city. To entice visitors, there are over AED1 million prizes in the offing.
For the Dubai Shopping Festival, malls across the emirate roll out retail promotions, offering fabulous prizes and deals. There is the ‘Shop and Win’ promotion, offering shoppers the chance to win AED1 million worth of cash prizes and Dubai Experience vouchers during the upcoming festive season.
The festival is being organised by the Dubai Shopping Malls Group (DSMG), with the support of the Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (DFRE), an agency of Dubai's Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (Dubai Tourism).
Visitors have got the opportunity to shop at participating malls and win AED1 million in prizes. For every AED200 spent at a participating mall, customers are entitled to participate in the weekly raffle draw. The promotion entails the biggest prizes to be won this DSF season, with total cash prizes worth AED720,000.
The four weekly draws will be held at the Global Village Main Stage on January 6, 13, 20 and 2 during the entire shopping month which will end on January 27. The draws will be telecasted live on Sama Dubai.
DSMG has included prizes in the mix that cater to families. The Dubai Experience Vouchers consists of a 'one night two days stay with breakfast at a 4-star hotel, Dubai Entertainment vouchers for a couple and two children below 10 years, dinner vouchers, Water Canal dhow cruise and a desert safari’.
Majid Al Ghurair, chairman of the DSMG, said, “This year, the Dubai Shopping Malls Group Mega Raffle has been carefully conceived to offer the right mix of winning opportunities and to elevate the shopping experience.”
He added, “With a legacy of 23 years, we have witnessed the DSF grow rapidly since its inception and is now a global attraction. This is evident with the increase in the number of visitors and sales at our participating malls.
