Elon Musk’s reign at the top of the list of richest people in the world was short-lived as he fell to second position on the Bloomberg Billionaires Index. Amazon founder Jeff Bezos is now back to being the richest man in the world.
The change in ranking came as Tesla shares fell resulting in Musk losing USD 4.6 billion.
The Bloomberg Billionaires Index, which ranks the world’s 500 wealthiest people, once again has Bezos at the top with a net worth of USD 191.2 billion.
Musk had overtaken the Amazon boss last month when his net worth crossed USD 185 billion, snatching away a position Bezos had held since 2017.
