Actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui is currently basking in the success of his film Rautu Ka Raaz, which is streaming exclusively on ZEE5 Global. Produced by Zee Studios and Phat Phish Records and directed by Anand Surapur, the movie features Nawazuddin in the lead role as Inspector Deepak Negi.
Nawaz recently sat down for an exclusive unhinged chat with Connected to India’s Himanshu Verma as the latter picked the actor’s brains about all things acting!
“To tell you the truth Himanshu, I don’t like characters which are flat,” Nawaz told the interviewer. “Flat in the sense, character which are too good. They save everyone. They are full of virtue. They are good fathers, good sons and good lovers. They dance well, they speak well,” Nawaz added.
“I want to play characters with grey shades, someone who lacks certain qualities,” the actor added.
