Here's a heads up whisky lovers!
Southeast Asia’s largest whisky and spirits show, Whisky Live, returns to Singapore on the weekend of November 3 to 4, 2018.
This international tasting show brings whisky and spirits connoisseurs around the world together. Organised by La Maison du Whisky, the ninth installation of the showcase promises a gratifying experience of libation surprises.
The event will be held at Andaz Singapore, which is situated near Marina Bay at the crossroads of the cultural districts – Kampong Glam and Little India. The venue effortlessly combines the rich history of the city, sparking off a sense of discovery through local touches such as the intimate shophouse-style restaurants, décor colours, and South East Asian inspired textures.
“To taste and experience whisky is as much art as it is science," said Mr. Mathieu Musnier, General Manager, La Maison du Whisky. “Every year, Whisky Live Singapore brings forth unique and immersive experience to discover a large selection of world-class whiskies and fine spirits; and indulge in the art of whisky appreciation through knowledge-sharing and tasting.”
This year's Whisky Live features a sampling of 64 exclusive whisky and spirit brands from across the fast-growing cocktail industry, including, for the first time ever, Blanton’s Bourbon Whiskey United States, and many more.
To cater to the growing community of local whisky connoisseurs, the two-day event will feature a larger VIP area this year.
The Masterclass Rooms offer consumers an opportunity to gain knowledge from some of the best whisky connoisseurs and industry experts. There will be 14 Masterclasses to choose from over the weekend, including Collectors Masterclasses such as Japanese Whiskies, Islay Room, and The Future Collectors. The Masterclass Rooms will also showcase the exclusive launch of the new Bruichladdich Black Art.
The Cocktail Terrace is dedicated to the appreciation of fine cocktails, featuring internationally coveted bars Monkey 47 Bar and New Colours Bar by LM&V.
