Facebook has decided to extend its work from home policy till July 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. They have also announced that they will provide their employees USD 1000 for their home office needs.

This follows Google’s announcement in late July this year to allow most of its employees to work from home till June 2021. Twitter too has floated the idea of letting its employees work from home indefinitely.

Facebook has also said that they will reopen their offices but in a limited way and only where government guidance permits and where virus mitigation has taken place for two months.

The opening of Facebook offices in most locations in the United States and Latin America remain unlikely this year with the increasing numbers of coronavirus cases.
