1. DVAYAM – Perspectives of Duality
Explore the age old theme of Duality through dance by Seema Hari Kumar and Devapriya Appan of Apsaras Arts. When there is Two there is co-existence, discordence, parallelism and dependence.
DVAYAM by Apsaras Arts premiered in 2011 presented by Esplanade Theatres on the Bay, featuring Seema Hari Kumar and Devapriya Appan along with guest artistes from India. The production will be re-presented for inaugural performance for "Remembering Neila Sathyalingam Festival", which is an annual rememberence of the founder of Apsaras Arts.

2. Valentine's Day: Coffee & Chocolate Pairing Workshop

Chit Ya Pat is a Hindi adaptation of the popular Marathi play Chapa Kata. It unfolds the life of Uttara, an aged, widowed and lonely mother whose only support is her daughter Maitreyi.
The play looks at a question that often gets thrown around in society. Should parents expect their children to put their lives on hold and look after them in their old age? Are children duty bound to execute this while shelving their ambitions and dreams? Maitreyi and Uttara start off as two friends – and through the journey of the play, find their true understanding of each other as mother and daughter.

4. Weaving Workshop (Beginners) – Make a Wall Hanging on a Loom
Learn how to weave on a simple lap loom in this weaving workshop for beginners! Elisa will be teaching you the basic techniques (tabby, rya knotting, soumak) which will enable you to create your own unique wall weaving from start to finish.
The lesson will guide you through a sample pattern, but you will be free to pick your own colour palette and materials, as well as make your own specific design choices as you go. Enjoy the process of organic creation, and see where it leads you!
