1. Sweeney Todd – The Demon Barber of Fleet Street

Stephen Sondheim's musical thriller Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street makes its Singapore premiere at Sands Theatre, Marina Bay Sands.

The production features Tony Award winner Lea Salonga as Mrs Lovett. Lea is known for originating the role of Kim in Miss Saigon, which won her the Tony and Olivier Award, as well as the singing voices of Jasmine in Disney's Aladdin and Fa Mulan in Mulan.

2. Fresh+Raw Live Comedy

Catch a one-night only Fresh+Raw live comedy – hosted by Singapore’s inimitable female stand-up comedian Sharul Channa, and featuring Jacky Ng, Deepak Chandran and other emerging comedians.

This special edition fun-night-out will make you laugh for a good cause. Proceeds from the night will go to TheatreWorks for its developmental and community engagement programmes.

3. SMF Festival Village

The SMF Festival Village will happen at Armenian Street, where you can experience dazzling cinematic experiences under the stars – such as Japanese filmmaker Naoko Ogigami’s 2012 comedy-drama Rent-a-Cat.

There will also be interactive events such as workshops and masterclasses, immersive AR and VR showcases, live performances, food and other entertainment, perfect for bonding with your family and friends.

5. Ronny Chieng Tone Issues – Singapore

Raised in Singapore and Malaysia, stand-up comedian and actor Ronny Chieng's homecoming live shows will be held at the Esplanade Theatre – hot off the back of filming his first Netflix comedy special.

Chieng is a Correspondent on The Daily Show with Trevor Noah on Comedy Central and starred in the 2018 worldwide smash hit movie Crazy Rich Asians
