In collaboration with Ikkan Art Gallery, this exhibition mingles observations of how plants grow in the forest with the workings of the urban mind. Drawing upon diverse resources such as neuroplasticity, quantum physics, contemporary Buddhist texts, and ancient Vedic literature, Nandita Mukand presents paintings and sculptures using a myriad of both synthetic and organic materials.

4. Kanan Gill 'Teetar' Live in Singapore 2019
One of India’s most popular comedians, Kanan Gill, will be making his anticipated return to Singapore on Feb 16, 2019, at SOTA Concert Hall!
In this hilarious one hour show, Kanan juggles ideas from Julius Caesar’s death to marching to bands and his building societies. The show also explains what “teetar” means.

5. Wayang Kulit and Gamelan Workshop
Javanese Wayang Kulit and the Gamelan is an interdisciplinary workshop with the Singa Nglaras Gamelan Ensemble, in collaboration with the Institute of Southeast Asian Arts and Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts.
In this workshop, participants will be introduced to styles of wayang kulit (shadow puppet theatre), gamelan music, and the work of contemporary wayang artists who are using new media and technology to document and redefine wayang.
