A cruel capture, young love, anguished separations, evil plots and challenging obstacles. The Thai folktale Manohra has it all. It tells the tale of the youngest Kinnari princess who is captured by a hunter and sold to a Prince from another kingdom. Love blooms between the Prince and Manohra but alas, part they must. Will there be a happy reunion?
The production is performed in English with song lyrics in Tamil and Thai.

The Chetti Melaka community represent a fast disappearing aspect of Singapore's cultural heritage. A community unique to the Straits region, their heritage is an amalgamation of diverse multi-cultural influences – Indian, Malay and Chinese.
For 2018, Indian Heritage Centre's special exhibition titled 'Chetti Melaka of the Straits – Rediscovering Peranakan Indian Communities' inspires IHC CultureFest. It will showcase unique and intangible aspects of Singapore's Chetti Melaka heritage.
It will provide visitors with glimpses of Chetti Melaka fashion, cuisine, and arts as a celebration of their cross-cultural heritage.

4. Singapore Toy, Game & Comic Convention
The Singapore Toy, Game & Comic Convention (STGCC) is your annual must-go pop culture event which brings you cutting edge Eastern and Western content from popular culture.
Attendees get to score limited edition drops, coveted autographs from celebrated comic artists and rare selfies with popular cosplay personalities, and a whole weekend to geek out as their favourite characters.

5. Double Bill: Singapore by Nguan & Entity of Spatial Existence
This is a double bill opening of an evening party for the Singapore International Photography Festival. The two exhibition openings at Gillman Barracks will feature local photography Nguan, who is known for his pastel-hued love for the country, as well as Korean artist Yoon Suok-Won.
