Indian consulates across the world announced a chance for Indian expats to win a 25-day trip to India.
The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) has invited persons of Indian origin to participate in a logo design competition for its Know India Programme (KIP).
The contest is open to PIOs across the world. The winner will be awarded a 25-day fully sponsored tour to India as a KIP participant. All entries should be emailed to the Indian consulates in their respective countries, the official statement read.
The winning logo will be featured on the MEA’s website, social media platforms and other mediums such as stationary, pamphlets, T-shirts etc.
Submission opened at the start of September and will be accepted until October 15.
The sponsored three-week orientation programme for Indian diaspora youth is aimed at promoting awareness on different facets of life in India and the progress made by the country in various fields. Through the KIP, students and young professionals of Indian origin can visit India, share their views, expectations and experiences as well as develop closer bonds with contemporary India.
