The Oscar-winning Telegu song ‘Naatu Naatu’ from RRR has gone viral across the world, with the choreography and amazing dance moves becoming some of the main reasons for its popularity.
It has won the hearts of music lovers all over the world. From foreign diplomats to Indians all over the nation; from the posts of of celebrities and influencers to neophyte social media users, the now extremely popular dance routine has become a global phenomenon.
The Indian Embassy in UAE is offering residents the chance to showcase their dance skills to the Oscar-winning song through a contest. All participants are being asked to create a 30-second clip of them grooving to 'Naatu, Naatu' and share it on Instagram, while tagging the Embassy account. They should also tag and follow the Embassy's Insta account (@India_in_UAE).
The last date for posting entries is April 16. The chosen winner will get to perform at the Embassy.
Apart from an Oscar, 'Naatu Naatu' also won the Golden Globe in the 'Best Original Song' category.
'RRR' bagged two critics' choice awards as well, Best Song and Best Foreign Language Film.
