Google celebrates World Emoji Day with 65 new emojis

Love using emojis in your messages? Well, get ready for 65 new ones set to be launched by Google on the new Android Q later this year. 

Here's what you can look forward to. 

A brand new diya emoji to celebrate the Indian festival of Diwali:

There will also be 53 emojis with gender inclusive designs, for example in the emoji for “police officer”, which is commonly displayed as male and "person getting haircut", commonly displayed as female. 

In keeping with the theme of diverse representation, Google is also releasing 71 emojis that reflect couples with different skin tones:
