In a bid to increase international air connectivity between India and the United Arab Emirates (UAE), both Air India and IndiGo have announced the launch of new flights between the two destinations.
Air India on Tuesday launched its non-stop flight service from Kolkata to Dubai, meeting a long-standing demand for direct flights to the Gulf city.
The flight will operate four days a week from the NSC Bose International Airport.
Meanwhile, IndiGo has announced six new flights to the Middle East, effective from July 25 and August 5. The daily non-stop flights will connect Delhi with Jeddah, and Mumbai with Kuwait.
Additionally, to cater to the increasing demand, the low-cost carrier will also launch its third non-stop daily flight between Mumbai and Dubai.
