Ray of Hope champions community cohesion in Singapore through innovative BCC program

Each BCC session has between 80 to 100 volunteers. Around 30 to 40 of these are migrants from four dormitories across Singapore. The session also attracts youth volunteers from various institutions, including St Patrick’s School, St Joseph’s Institution, Singapore University of Social Sciences, and Tampines Meridian Junior College, etc.

Singapore singles can apply for new 2-room HDB Flexi flats in any location; rollout in October 2024

Earlier, singles were only allowed to buy new 2-room Flexi flats (of 99-year lease) in non-mature estates. Now, the categories of “mature” or “non-mature” HDB housing estates are being replaced with the following categories: Standard, Plus, or Prime, based on the location and features of the new flats.

Former Singapore minister Iswaran gets 12-month jail term; property tycoon Ong Beng Seng charged next

Lead counsel for defence Davinder Singh requested the court to give Iswaran time till 4pm on Monday, October 7, to surrender at the State Courts and begin his jail term. Iswaran is out on present on a bail bond of SGD 800,000.
